Filsafat
The Bible is the word of God, the ultimate authority for Truth. God is a relational God and has chosen to reveal Himself through the revelation of Scripture. Learning the Bible will bring students closer to God and have relationship with Him. Spiritual growth is fostered through memorization of Bible verses and a daily prayer and devotional life is encouraged.

Course Objectives
In second Grade, students will begin to understand the way God wants us to live our lives, through studying Bible verses, and findings how their way of life can apply to students’ lives.

Time Allotment
45 minutes per day, 4 days a week with chapel on 1 day.

Course Content
The overall topic for the year is “God’s way to live”. The course covers the life issues :

  • Being honest
  • Selfishness
  • Disobedience
  • Getting along with others
  • Tattling
  • Feeling that others are unfair
  • Self esteem,

The students study these in relation to Bible heroes, and their focus on how they apply to their own lives.

Evaluation
The assessment for the course will be through several different forms:

  1. Develop understanding of Scripture
  2. Class participation
  3. Bible memory work.
  4. Applies learning to daily live
