Philosophy
“Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all for the glory of God.” I Cor. 10:31
God created food to give energy and health to human beings as well as pleasure and even as a means of social interaction. This means that certain kinds of foods are better for our health and welfare than others. People need to know how to take care of their bodies through the foods they eat in order to most effectively serve their Creator and feel wellbeing. However God also, through his kindness to humanity created a wide variety of foods that can be esthetically combined and cooked in various ways that add pleasure and joy to our lives as well. Additionally, as God has given every kind of food to the Christian to eat (Acts 10:9-35), learning about other culture’s foods and eating customs widens our ability to interact with and appreciate people from other cultures as well as a means of interaction within one’s own family.
