Swimming and Cross Country
The third season of the year, swimming and cross country are represented in a joint IISSAC tournament. These two sports are generally more accessible to elementary students wanting to compete in an IISSAC tournament than the other sports.
Though Wesley has no swimming pool, there is a great facility just around the corner. Practices are often early in the morning and in the evening. Swimming practices are, as students report, the most challenging out of all the sports, but also the most fulfilling.
Cross country makes use of Malang’s hilly terrain, with early morning runs in the green areas near the campus. Practices run (no pun intended), like swimming, in the mornings and in the evenings.
